Our client is seeking a mid-level GitHub Implementation Specialist to lead the deployment, configuration, and administration of GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) in on-premises and private-cloud environments for enterprise clients. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing management of the GitHub platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the installation and configuration of GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES).
- Manage version upgrades and ensure high availability of the GitHub platform.
- Implement security hardening measures to protect enterprise data.
- Oversee migrations from other systems to GitHub Enterprise Server.
- Conduct day-2 operations, including troubleshooting and optimizing performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) deployment and administration.
- Proficiency in managing on-premises and private-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices for software deployment.
- Familiarity with version control systems and software development workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in GitHub implementation and management.
