About this role
Our client is seeking a mid-level GitHub Actions Engineer to design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions while embedding DevSecOps practices into every workflow. This role requires a hands-on approach to pipeline engineering combined with a security-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable GitHub Actions workflows, composite actions, and shared workflow templates.
- Build end-to-end CI/CD pipelines covering build, unit testing, security scanning, and deployment.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of CI/CD processes.
- Implement security best practices throughout the CI/CD lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing CI/CD pipelines for performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD methodologies.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Knowledge of security scanning tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in CI/CD and DevSecOps roles.
