About this role
Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a 12-month contract position based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with the flexibility to work remotely. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong emphasis on PHP, C#, Java, and JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using PHP, C#, and Java.
- Implement front-end solutions with JavaScript and jQuery.
- Utilize BASH or other Linux scripting for automation tasks.
- Manage version control using GIT.
- Handle simultaneous requests of varying complexity from supported customers.
- Adhere to Incident Management & Change Management protocols for incident resolution and production system changes.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Engineers to design applications aligned with strategic initiatives.
- Work with Business Analysts and Project Managers to create estimates and timelines.
- Follow Agile or Waterfall methodologies to deliver applications that meet business requirements.
- Conduct disciplined unit testing to minimize defects in coding and configuration management.
- Coordinate update releases and system changes, ensuring documentation is current.
- Organize and validate code segments for User Acceptance Testing.
- Ensure development activities align with established service portfolio policies and standards.
- Recommend improvements to development processes and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively within a matrix management environment to resolve development issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in PHP development.
- 3-5 years of experience with C# and/or Java.
- 3-5 years of experience in JavaScript/jQuery.
- 1+ year of scripting experience in a reputable company.
- Experience with BASH or other Linux environments.
- 1+ year of experience using GIT.
Experience: 5-8 years in full stack development.
