Front End Lead

Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Front-End Lead to drive the architecture and development of modern, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be highly hands-on and technically proficient in JavaScript frameworks, Electron.js, and cloud-integrated front-end solutions. This role is based in Mumbai, India, and is offered as a 12-month contract with the potential for direct hire thereafter.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of user interfaces for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development and implement best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth application functionality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, particularly React or Angular.
• Strong experience with Electron.js for building cross-platform desktop applications.
• Familiarity with cloud services and integration, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience Level

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
