Our client is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with a strong background in developing engaging and functional front-end applications, ideally with experience on government projects. This role is based in Toronto, ON and offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement front-end applications that are both engaging and functional.
- Translate technical specifications into working, tested code using industry best practices.
- Develop detailed programming specifications and conduct thorough unit testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with Accessibility for Ontario (AODA) standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of front-end development experience, with a focus on building complex applications.
