About this role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Freelance Data Scraping Engineer with expertise in Python to join the Tendem project. In this role, referred to as an AI Pilot, you will be responsible for driving specialized data scraping workflows within a hybrid AI-human system. You will collaborate closely with Tendem Agents who handle repetitive tasks, while you provide critical thinking, domain expertise, and quality control to ensure accurate and actionable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data scraping solutions using Python.
- Collaborate with AI systems and human agents to optimize data collection workflows.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of scraped data through rigorous testing and validation.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to derive actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data scraping processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and experience with data scraping libraries (e.g., Beautiful Soup, Scrapy).
- Strong understanding of web technologies and data formats (HTML, JSON, XML).
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Familiarity with API integrations and data extraction from various sources.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in data scraping and engineering.
