Fluent OMS Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Fluent OMS Developer to join a large-scale Order Management transformation programme. This remote contract position offers the opportunity to play a key role in designing, implementing, and enhancing Fluent OMS solutions that support complex omnichannel retail operations. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and other technical experts to ensure that the solutions meet both business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Fluent OMS solutions tailored to the needs of the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Enhance existing OMS systems to improve functionality and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OMS applications.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and architecture.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing and implementing Fluent OMS solutions.
• Strong understanding of order management processes and omnichannel retail operations.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with database technologies and integration methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Experience Level:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years focused on Fluent OMS solutions.
• Prior experience in a technical lead or architect role is highly desirable.
