Our client is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating security practices into the DevOps process, ensuring that security is a fundamental part of the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Automate security checks and processes within CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to development teams on secure coding practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in DevSecOps or related fields.
