About this role
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their team on a hybrid basis, working three days a week. This role is available in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and a passion for building robust data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Utilize Python and data engineering frameworks to develop scalable data solutions.
- Implement CI/CD practices to ensure smooth deployment and integration of data applications.
- Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to manage and optimize data storage and processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Python programming.
- Expertise in data engineering frameworks and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
- Proficient in working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field.
