About this role
Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to validate and analyze a variety of agency data sources to garner public health insights. The incumbent will produce reports and support data-related activities for several divisions. This role will also assist with the curation and analysis of various other datasets and help teams integrate new data and information into existing and new reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as project lead and subject matter expert for specific data sources, as assigned.
- Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness.
- Generate insightful reports to support decision-making processes across divisions.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate new datasets into existing reporting frameworks.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data dashboards and visualization tools.
- Provide training and support to team members on data-related activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills to convey findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field is required.
