Our client is seeking a Business Data Analyst who will play a crucial role in validating and analyzing various agency data sources to provide valuable public health insights. The successful candidate will produce comprehensive reports and support data-related activities across multiple divisions. This position also involves curating and analyzing diverse datasets and assisting teams in integrating new data into existing and new reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as project lead and subject matter expert for specific data sources, as assigned.
- Review and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Produce detailed reports that provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with various teams to integrate new data and information into reports.
- Assist in the curation and analysis of various datasets to support public health initiatives.
- Participate in meetings and presentations to communicate findings and insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in public health data analysis is a plus.
