Our client is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based in Pune with a hybrid working model. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in backend development and a strong understanding of digital commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in backend development.
