About this role
Our client is seeking a skilled Back End Developer to join their innovative team focused on creating India's first fully verified matrimonial platform. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a startup that is dedicated to solving the challenges of fake and misleading profiles in the online matrimony space. The position is contract-based for three months with the potential for extension to a full-time role.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the back-end infrastructure that supports user registration, login, and profile verification processes. Your expertise will help ensure a seamless and secure experience for users on the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side logic and database management systems.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Implement user authentication and authorization processes.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance.
- Ensure the security and integrity of user data through best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT).
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience Level:
- 2+ years of experience in back-end development or related fields.
- Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
