Our client is seeking a Tech Lead Application Security Engineer to spearhead their application security initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of applications throughout the development lifecycle, applying best practices and innovative solutions to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the application security team in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing security measures.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Conduct security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing to identify and remediate security flaws.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends to proactively address potential risks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in application security or a related domain.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as SAST, DAST, and IAST.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
