Our client is seeking an experienced Android Developer (SDE II) to join their Wealth and Asset Management platform team. This is a contractual opportunity for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-performance Android applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs to integrate into applications.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Proficiency in Android Studio and modern Android architecture.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Experience:
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Android development.
