Our client is seeking an experienced Android Developer (SDE II) to join their Wealth and Asset Management platform team. This is a contractual opportunity for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Android development and a passion for creating high-performance, user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain and improve existing applications while ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Implement modern Android architecture and best practices in application development.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance functionality and usability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Android SDK.
- Strong knowledge of Android Studio and modern Android architecture components.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Understanding of mobile app design principles and user interface guidelines.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience Level:
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience in Android development.
