About this role
Our client is seeking an Android Mobile Application Developer with a solid understanding of the Android application lifecycle, particularly in modern mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building native applications for Android using Java and Kotlin on Android Studio. You will create applications from scratch or configure existing ones to enhance functionality and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement applications from initial concept to finished product.
- Develop app architecture and user interfaces that are user-friendly and efficient.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Maintain and improve existing applications by adding new features and fixing bugs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Strong experience with Android Studio and the Android SDK.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Understanding of mobile application design principles and interface guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Android application development.
