About this role
Our client is seeking a skilled System Architect with extensive experience in the Transportation Domain, specifically focusing on Ticket Vending Machines (TVM) and Automatic Gates (AG). This is a remote position for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end application design for AG and TVM based on Preliminary Design and Pre-final Design documents.
- Develop and implement system integration design patterns within the ecosystem of TVM and AG.
- Define internal and external system interfaces and Protocol Data Units (PDUs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in system integration design patterns.
- Strong background in embedded systems, hardware, and software architecture.
- Experience with application design and system interfaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in system architecture, particularly in the transportation sector.
