Our client is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions through automated testing and continuous integration practices. You will work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to design and implement testing frameworks and strategies that meet the needs of both commercial and government clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for various applications and services.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle.
- Identify and troubleshoot defects in software applications and report findings.
- Design and execute performance and load tests to ensure system robustness.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices in automated testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and testing processes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in software testing or development, with a focus on automation.
