Our client is seeking a Senior SQL & Azure Data Factory Developer for a remote position, operating within EST or CST hours. This role is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, aimed at a highly skilled SQL and Azure Data Factory expert who can bring innovative solutions and enterprise-grade data engineering to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of data solutions, pipelines, and API-driven database components.
- Drive high-volume data processing and contribute to enterprise data architecture efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data strategies.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions that meet business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development, including stored procedures and large-scale batch processing.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise data platforms.
- Experience in building and maintaining Azure Data Factory pipelines.
- Proficient in creating and deploying database-hosted APIs.
- Strong skills in data analysis, transformation, and ETL processes.
Bonus Skills:
- Broader experience across cloud data ecosystems.
- Additional exposure to advanced data modeling or automation tooling.
- Familiarity with modern data integration patterns.
