Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their growing data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and building enterprise-scale data platforms, developing high-performance data pipelines, and optimizing modern cloud-based data architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data architectures to support business needs.
- Develop and maintain high-performance data pipelines using modern ETL tools.
- Optimize cloud-based data solutions, primarily in Azure, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Azure Data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala.
- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark is a plus.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: 6-10 years in data engineering or related field.
