About this role
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong focus on Playwright automation. This is a full-time contract position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, with a hybrid work schedule of three days onsite in Hyderabad, India. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in automation testing and end-to-end test development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces, APIs, backend services, and databases.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Build scalable automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Playwright and automation testing.
- Experience with testing UI, APIs, backend services, and databases.
- Familiarity with AWS-based applications and services.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and automation.
