Our client is seeking a qualified Website Developer to redesign and develop an organizational website that reflects their values and supports their mission. The new website will serve as a primary platform for storytelling, education, campaigns, research, fundraising, and community engagement, with a focus on accessibility and usability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Redesign and develop an accessible organizational website
- Improve site architecture and user experience
- Implement a flexible and maintainable content management system
- Migrate and retain existing content and resources
- Provide technical documentation and staff training
- Offer ongoing maintenance and support options post-launch
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in website design and development
- Strong knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
- Familiarity with responsive web design across desktop and mobile devices
- Experience with content management systems (CMS)
- Knowledge of SEO and performance optimization techniques
- Understanding of accessibility compliance and security best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in web development or related field
