About this role
Our client is seeking a skilled Developer for a 6-month contract position with strong potential for extension. This role is fully remote and focuses on designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting automation solutions within the Information Technology sector. The Developer will play a critical role in building workflows, integrating Document Understanding and AI models, configuring Orchestrator components, and monitoring production bots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to identify process needs and document business and technical requirements.
- Engineer high-complexity automation solutions utilizing REFramework, including Document Understanding pipelines and AI Center model integrations.
- Develop advanced automations using Workbook activities, Integration Service, and VBA/macros for data processing and advanced formatting.
- Build and maintain automation solutions using GUI automation, BAPI integrations, and scripting.
- Configure and manage Automation Orchestrator, including modern folders, assets, queues, and triggers.
- Actively monitor production bots, analyze transaction failures, and implement improvements for performance tuning.
- Manage deployments and maintain records of test evidence and documentation.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues impacting automation performance.
- Maintain code and version control across environments using Git.
- Apply advanced programming logic using C#, VB.NET, and other technologies to support data manipulation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Professional certification in relevant automation technologies.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automation development, including Studio, Orchestrator, and REFramework.
- At least 2 years of experience with Document Understanding and AI integrations.
- Strong hands-on experience with GUI, BAPI, or API automation.
- Experience with Power Apps (Power Automate and Power BI) is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Agile experience is preferred.
