About this role
Our client is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. The ideal candidate will leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation to streamline software and data delivery, manage CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud costs, and ensure robust security and observability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage cloud foundation platforms using tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Design and implement pipeline automation to enhance deployment efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize cloud environments for cost and performance.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into the DevOps processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve the CI/CD process.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps or related fields is required.
