Our client is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with a strong background in government projects to join their team in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging and functional front-end applications that meet user needs and comply with accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement front-end applications using best practices.
- Translate technical specifications into working, tested code.
- Develop detailed programming specifications and conduct unit testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a focus on government projects preferred.
