Our client is seeking a Freelancer Linguistic Tester specializing in the IT/Software domain, specifically for the Punjabi language. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the linguistic quality of software products and applications. You will work closely with developers and localization teams to identify and resolve linguistic issues, ensuring that the final product meets high standards of quality and cultural relevance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct linguistic testing of software applications to ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Collaborate with localization teams to review and provide feedback on translated content.
- Identify and report linguistic issues and inconsistencies in software interfaces.
- Assist in the development of linguistic guidelines and best practices for the Punjabi language.
- Participate in regular meetings with project teams to discuss progress and challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Punjabi, with strong understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural context.
- Experience in linguistic testing or quality assurance in the IT/software domain.
- Familiarity with localization processes and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills in both Punjabi and English.
