Our client is seeking a Freelancer Linguistic Tester specializing in the IT/Software domain for the Punjabi language. In this role, you will leverage your linguistic skills to ensure the quality and accuracy of software localization and testing processes. You will play a vital part in helping brands communicate effectively with their Punjabi-speaking audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and test localized software applications for linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Identify and report issues related to language, localization, and user experience.
- Collaborate with project managers and developers to resolve linguistic discrepancies.
- Provide feedback on translation quality and suggest improvements.
- Conduct linguistic QA tests to ensure compliance with client specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Punjabi and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong understanding of software localization processes and tools.
- Experience with linguistic testing and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with IT and software terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in linguistic testing or localization in the IT/software domain.
