Our client is seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer for a freelance opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security measures for cloud-based systems, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cloud security policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments on cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the DevOps process.
- Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and respond accordingly.
- Stay updated on the latest cloud security trends and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in cloud security tools and best practices.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in cloud security or related fields.
