About this role
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Apache NiFi to join their team on a contractual basis for 6 months. This remote position requires a strong background in AWS Cloud Data Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines using Apache NiFi, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations using Power BI, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions.
- Utilize AWS services such as Glue, Step Functions, and Lambda to enhance data processing capabilities.
- Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Apache NiFi and Apache Airflow.
- Strong experience with AWS services, particularly Glue, Step Functions, and Lambda.
- Expertise in data visualization tools, specifically Power BI.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in data engineering or related field, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
